The author of Fodor's Napa and Sonoma and coauthor of The California Directory of Fine Wineries, I'm a writer and editor specializing in Northern California wine and travel. I also cover the Paso Robles wine region, along with Mendocino County, the Gold Country, and Lodi. My goal with the itineraries and other coverage here is to pair travelers with the very best experiences for them.

For two-plus decades I've worked for Fodor's Travel on staff as an editor and later editorial director of two book imprints and Fodors.com, and freelance as a writer and editor. Read more on LinkedIn about Fodor's and other publications and websites I've worked for. My interview with wine blogger Jo Diaz contains additional biographical details.
